A woman's curiosity about her attic led to a viral moment on TikTok after she accidentally filmed her cat lounging among the beams. The video quickly gained traction, racking up more than 10.7 million views.

In the popular TikTok clip, Amanda Jennardo (@amandagennardo) reaches her phone into the attic space to see what might be hiding up there. Expecting to find an empty area, she was taken by surprise when she spotted her pet.

The video shows the camera slowly panning over the wooden beams of the attic, and out of nowhere, Amanda notices a fluffy culprit. It turns out to be Jennardo's cat, calmly lying among the beams as if he belonged there.

Shortly after posting, the video exploded in popularity, with the comments section filled with jokes and admiration.

“No signs of him, boss,” one user quipped. “There’s a gentleman on the beams helping you look for your cat,” another commented. “That’s a weird piece of wood shaped like a cat,” joked a viewer. “Nope, not there, keep looking,” added another.

Meanwhile, Amanda took the situation with humor.

“Someone sees him,” she commented under the video.

The behavior of the cat didn’t surprise feline experts, as these pets are known for their love of cozy, hidden spaces. According to Hill’s Pet Nutrition, the instinct to hide dates back to prehistoric times when finding shelter meant safety.
