In similar scenes, fans recently chased after Rohit once his training session concluded which prompted him to make a dash for his car – a blue Lamborghini – to escape the huge crowd.

While driving through the busy streets of Mumbai, Rohit stopped his car beside a group of supporters. As he waved towards the crowd, one fan pointed at a girl and claimed it was her birthday.

Without hesitation, the Rohit turned towards the girl and shook her hand while saying “happy birthday”.

The fangirl was elated by the warm gesture and she humbly replied with a ‘thank you.’

Rohit is currently enjoying a break after a successful home Test series against Bangladesh. India won the series 2-0.

Rohit will now have his eyes set on the upcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand at home. The opening fixture will begin on October 16 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
